Today's theme Thursday was
Arctic/Antarctic or 'Frozen' theme. We were going to do a studio day where we set up a printing press area and did all kinds of different prints, but Juliet vetoed that to Naomi's disappointment. We might get to this tomorrow if we don't save it for next Thursday!

We began by getting Naomi to her google meet session after we walked Pip. Juliet was doing the puzzle game again while JP and I made breakfast. After Naomi's class we did
polar bear yoga. This was a fun one that we all participated in. This was the first time that I was able to do all the yoga moves, I think I'm pretty much healed up, at least well enough to do kids yoga! After yoga we went right into our
Canadian Arctic Trek and visited the
Polar Bear Capital of the World. These treks were not as great as the National parks ones, so I found a few virtual reality Arctic, Glaciers, Antarctic Google Expeditions that we did on the iPad. The girls learned what the tundra is, that the polar bear's environment is being lost due to ice melting and about the arctic hare and arctic fox. Then we looked at Antarctica and saw the penguins and leopard seals. Juliet was very interested in drawing all the animals we saw while Naomi read all the facts about the animals and places to us while we drew.
Then we stopped for lunch. Dad made a awesome sandwiches for everyone on the fresh French bread that I made last night! Then we did a family puzzle of Frozen! I got the girls a new one at Park Street Books the other day when I went out! It was great fun doing it together. It was 200 pieces so we were able to finish it before lunch was over!
Then the kids went outside...for the rest of the day!
In the late afternoon JP had to head into work to fix something so that his work tomorrow would go smoothly.

Nana and Baba came over for a visit as they were up for a few doctor appointments. Baba for his ankle that he hurt when he fell off the ladder doing god knows what in the yard on the cape, and Nana for her blood work for the migraine study she is in. We all relaxed in the warm sun watching the kids ride their bikes all around the circle with the other kids in the neighborhood! As we got our Crescent Ridge delivery today we decided to use some of the fresh produce for dinner. JP made an amazing chicken sausage stir fry with potatoes, onions, garlic and spinach with a side of fiddleheads. Yes we got more fiddleheads! Not a fan favorite of the kids, or Nana. After dinner we walked Pip, the girls rode their bikes and then Nana and Baba headed back to the cape.
The girls stayed up reading in their bed rather late tonight while dad worked on the pergola brackets and I wrote this blog!
