Today the kids got up and got ready for their virtual learning with their teachers. This has become part of the routine this week. Naomi has a 45 minute virtual conference with her teacher and Juliet watches the you tube videos her teacher posts each day. The kids have been pretty good about doing their work. Naomi started working on her 3 must do assignments before her class and Juliet watched her videos and got going on her pin punching.
After working for a bit they took a break and did some yoga. This is a nice way to get moving and take a break from their work. Mom got to go to her department meeting while the kids were occupied with yoga and then reading with dad.

The rest of the day was spent getting ready for Passover. The girls helped make Matzah, matzah ball soup, squash soufflè, green bean casserole, charoset and brisket. They spent most of the afternoon preparing our table with a wonderful display of the parting of the Red Sea with their lego characters and our table cloth.
JP, Juliet and I took about a 2 hour nap and then got up and put the food in the over and the finishing touches on the table.
We heated up my homemade chicken soup from scratch only to notice it full of ants! I had made it Monday and put it in the garage to keep it cool as there was no room in the fridge. Ugh, so annoying!! Good thing I made extra soup from the matzah ball soup mix!

We got logged in and had the most fun sedar with Eric, Koko, Noah, Sarah, Kyle, Andria, Brian, Dave, Alex, Grammy, Nana, Baba, Great Nana & Bob!! What a great way to have everyone celebrate together!! Everyone participated in the sedar reading something from the PJ library haggadah! Naomi read the 4 questions in English and Noah read them in Hebrew. Dave did the blessing of the Wine, Nana did the blessing of the candles. Juliet did a wonderful performance of the 10 plagues with the masks we have and everyone else read a passage of English at some point. We then stayed on the video call with everyone while we all ate dinner. It was fun to have a communal meal together and chat and hear about what everyone is doing!! The girls enjoyed!! We finally cleaned up and signed off of the video chat around 9 and got the kids in bed.
Hopefully the sleep in tomorrow!!!
