Thursday evening we went over to Pudong to the Oriental Pearl TV Tower for their all you can eat buffet dinner at their revolving restaurant at 262 meters. The food was ok but the view was breathtaking. The restaurant was VERY dimly lit so we had a wonderful view of the city. After 4-5 plates of food we headed up to the top of the tower (350m) to have an even grander view of the city. we could see quite well despite the rainy weather.
The bottom floor of the tower had a spectacular museum of the history of Shanghai. They had life sized replicas of people working in the fields, shops, cars, and different buildings in the town. We were rushed through the museum as the tower closed at 10pm.
