This weekend was a busy weekend. We started off Saturday morning heading over to the Natick Labs for the Trout Fest. Naomi was a bit small for it, but enjoyed playing on the playground there. Then we headed to Needham to the Greene's Field Y Healthy Kid Festival where they were giving away lots of free goodies like bananas and whole wheat crackers and jump ropes and tooth brushes and balloons. Naomi ate 2.5 bananas at the fair! Which is great since she'd been sick the last few days with an ear infection and fever and had not eaten much the last few days. We then spent the afternoon at Nana and Grampy's where Naomi got some new toys that Grampy found at the Needham Swap. Great chair Grampy!

On Sunday we played outside in the morning and then ventured into Boston in the afternoon. Our destination was Chinatown for some tea and Chinese treats we had back in Shanghai. We made our way around the streets of Chinatown and met up with Nana and Grampy, who had biked in from Newton. We wandered the streets and Grampy found some yummy take out, while Naomi and I found a yummy bakery. I got my favorite, bubble tea and Naomi got a sweet treat. Then we left Nana and Grampy and headed towards Boston Common and Garden. The Common was filled with people, enjoying the sun, dancing, making music and playing quiddich (the harry potter broom game)! We walked with our destination being the ducks from Make Way For Ducklings! Naomi LOVES the ducklings, so we played there for a while and ran around the park enjoying the sun. It was getting late so we headed home after that. Phew what a busy weekend!!
